Fundamental Skillz Band News 22 September 2009

Surface Unsigned Competition:

First off, the Band would like to thank all those that have voted and supported them through out all the previous rounds of Surface Unsigned 2009. All the months of hard work have resulted in Fundamental Skillz being in the last 16 of the Surface Unsigned competition.

Fundamental Skillz will go head to head with the other sixteen bands and be judged by A&R from Universal, Polydor and other reputable Industry Professionals.

If you can make it down to Indigo at the O2 we urge you to do so to support this momentous achievement. Even if you cannot make the event, your support via text would be greatly appreciated. Please vote for FS using the following details:

Change of Line-up:

The FS line up has changed. The Notorious B.I.D decided to leave the Band in order to pursue a career as a chef. The remaining band members wish him all the best and would like to thank him for all his hard efforts over the years. It was an amicable departure with both sides deciding that it was for the best. B.I.D we salute you sir, you are one in a million.

FS would like to welcome to the band our new base player Silent "J". J has settled into the band well and has performed in the last two rounds of the Surface Unsigned competition. Silent J brings a different dynamic to the band and is a great addition.

Management:

The Management Contract signed with Rollin Rhyme Records expired on 18 July 2009. After careful consideration, the Band decided not to exercise the option to re-new the Contract. FS would like to wish Rolling Rhyme Records all the best in the future and would like to thank them for all their efforts.

Effective as of 18 July 2009, FS are with out formal Management and will update the fans if that changes in the near future.

Once again thank you to all the fans for their support and we hope to win the competition for you all!!! 26/27 September 2009. Be there or lose out.
