Fundamental Skillz

Fundamental Skillz have hit Glastonbury and ZOO8 festivals already this year - what's you excuse for not checking out the hottest band around? Check out the upcoming gigs and be part of history!

FS are "special"! no false pretences or gimmicks, each band member picked by the hand of God himself.

Unique, in their style and not content with being pigeonholed as a Nu-Metal Band, the music they produce, from the riffs to the beats, to the ink that pens the lyrics to the scratches on the turntables, has diverse elements drawn from the musical influences of each band member. Ranging from Hip-Hop, Rock, Funk, Indie, Break Beat, Jazz and Rap to name but a few. The product and culmination of such influences and talent is a fresh alternative sound in which these individuals deem themselves, pioneers.

They make music that pushes the boundaries of conventional music styles and their raw energy and sound is evident from their strong stage performances as witnessed at Glastonbury 2008, where they shared the same stage with established artists as Fat Boy Slim, Roni Size and Unkle and lest we forget their breath taking performance at Zoo Festival 2008, where they performed the support slot for DJ Excalibur in the VIP tent.

With the right image, hit songs and inspiring performances to back what they are about, Fundamental Skillz have acquired a solid following and can even claim to have Michael Eavis the organiser of Glastonbury as a fan. First was Glastonbury 2008, then followed Zoo 2008 and now the world and why not? The sky is the limit for this band.
